Jack Wills is one of the fastest growing fashion retailers in the UK with over 40 stores nationwide. Recent expansion has see them grow in both the US (12 stores) and the Far East (2 stores in Hong Kong with stores currently planned for Japan and North Korea)

My Role

I joined Jack Wills in December 2007 on a short term contract to help the existing developer migrate the website from an Asp based website to a more robust .Net application, as part of this rebuild I was also tasked with localising the site and building in multi currency support for the launch of Jack Wills USA.

Overall I have spent a little over 4 years at Jack Wills, both as a contractor and a permanent member of staff, with my final position being that of Development Manager, responsible for a team of 12 permanent developers and managing 6 e-commerce websites across various platforms and languages.
